Attainment Gap

I think it's important to include in our interview/ survey what students think about the attainment gap, and also ask tutors/staff how they're trying to combat it.  Black students are less likely to graduate with a 2:1 than their white counterparts, with only 40.3 per cent scoring a first or a 2:1 compared to   69.5 per cent of white students who go on to achieve a 2:1 or higher and this is a form of epistemic violence. It would be also interesting to see what our SU stands on this, as I'm sure its something I've seen in a few election manifestos.
